Based on the Corporate Ethical Standards, the Hanwa Group positions contribution to the environment and local communities as an important responsibility. In FY2025, employees at our domestic and overseas bases took the lead in implementing social contribution 트레이딩 벳 aimed at coexistence with local communities and environmental conservation.
Mangrove Planting and Cleanup 트레이딩 벳 in Thailand
At HANWA STEEL SERVICE (THAILAND) CO., LTD., we conduct mangrove planting and cleanup 트레이딩 벳 annually with the aim of promoting understanding of the local environment and conserving ecosystems. 51 employees participated in FY2023, 56 in FY2024, and 48 in FY2025. This activity is a valuable opportunity for employees to deepen their understanding of environmental issues, while also contributing to ecosystem conservation and climate change countermeasures.
Participation in the World Heritage 트레이딩 벳nservation Activity "Michi-Bushin Walk"
In Wakayama Prefecture, home to the World Heritage site "Kumano Kodo," maintenance and conservation 트레이딩 벳 for the ancient trails are continuously conducted through the "Michi-Bushin Walk" program, in which companies and organizations participate. Since our founding family has ties to Wakayama Prefecture, employees participated in FY2025 as well, contributing to the conservation of cultural heritage through cleanup work and path maintenance.

We continuously conduct cleanup 트레이딩 벳 around the Osaka Head Office by employees every year. We work on environmental maintenance of sidewalks, planting strips, and surrounding facilities, contributing to the creation of a safe and comfortable environment in the region.

트레이딩 벳 Scholarship Program Overview
Hanwa Scholarship Program, a public interest in트레이딩 벳rporated
foundation, was established in April 1957 to 트레이딩 벳mmemorate our
tenth anniversary.
Jiro Kita, our founder and the first president of the
foundation, had himself had a hard time working his way
through school and wished to provide assistance to help
students financially to foster human resources that will
benefit the nation. He dedicated 10 million yen to establish
the foundation when the capital of the 트레이딩 벳mpany was only 100
million yen.
In FY2015, a bursary program for
international study was introduced, and approximately one
million yen is granted for one year of study. In FY2021, the
bursary program was extended to students in Japan, and 30
thousand yen per month of 트레이딩 벳 assistance is being paid.
Because these are both bursaries, they do not need to be
repaid. We are thus seeking to establish 트레이딩 벳 assistance
programs that meet the needs of the times.

Looking Ahead to More Achievements
Since transitioning to a public interest in트레이딩 벳rporated foundation in April 2011, the Hanwa Scholarship Program has 트레이딩 벳ntinued to develop smoothly, with total assets reaching approximately 700 million yen and over 1,200 scholarship recipients to date. Many scholarship alumni 트레이딩 벳ntinue their advancement in society—in academic, governmental, and legal professions in addition to industrial ones.
